Music is a central part of the life and culture of the Baka forest people of Cameroon and their repertoire includes the extraordinary art of water percussion. It’s such a simple idea but the rhythmic complexity that they can achieve is really impressive.

Something I didn’t know, but on reflection I suppose it stands to reason, is that water drumming exists in other cultures too.
